Iona Community
I am an associate member of the Iona Community, an intentional, international ecumenical, Christian community centred on the Isle of Iona, a tiny, historic island off the coast of Mull in the Inner Hebrides, Scotland.

As the ferry from Fionnphort on Mull (at the end of the yellow road on right hand map above) approaches Iona, the Abbey can be seen in the distance. It is this restored Benedictine Abbey with ancient standing Celtic crosses in front of it which is the iconic worshiping centre for the Iona Community.
I visited Iona twice while living in Scotland for three months in 2002 and have been an associate member ever since. I'm committed, as an associate, to keeping the Devotional Discipline of the Community.
