My writingI'm a writer by nature and always have been – a writer about things rather than a writer who creates things. So, non-fiction rather than fiction.
Now I'm writing a blog. I put up a new post every Friday afternoon. Just click back to the homepage to find out about it and see its link.
From my writing history what I like most are my four books.

The first is a book of Christian thought.

I was a freelance writer for the latter part of my working life.
I started freelancing as a ‘contributing writer’ for North and South, a glossy New Zealand monthly. About the same time I wrote some features for The Evening Post, Wellington’s abandoned evening daily. For some years I was the Wellington correspondent for The Bush Telegraph, a rural community newspaper in Pahiatua. For a while, I wrote for two community newspapers in the greater Wellington area. I became very experienced at interviewing and at turning the information gleaned into publishable text.

Like many freelance writers, I turned my hand to a great miscellany of other writing related tasks: audio-visuals, press releases, cvs, leaflets, brochures, application letters, advertorials, articles for computer magazines, auditing and assisting other writers, judging writing competitions, Bible reading notes for Scripture Union, book editing, ghost writing, publicity (newsletters especially) for community groups and several Wellington businesses.
